| Electronic Delivery - Plotting
thru Producing a CD Bruce Dana(FDOT) |

This hands-on workshop will cover some of the end-game when preparing
data for electronic delivery to FDOT. We start with a data set where the
drafting work is complete, then proceed to plot with MS Batch Plotter,
creating and editing the Index, producing Index reports and other summary
files, signing, sealing and securing the data, to making the data ready to burn
on CD for submittal.

of the issues you may run into while producing plans on a FDOT project. The
project is a FDOT D7 3R Milling & Resurfacing job. It is a Lump Sum
project, it is a Reduced Plan Set and has Reduced Reviews to save time and
money.

InRoads V9 has been overhauled to bring it into the 21st century. This next
generation of software has major enhancements to the roadway model creation
process. As well as new ways to applying objects within the process to allow
easy relationships to be created and allow modifications to propagate back

capabilities presented in InRoads V9.

With MicroStation V8 the ability to interoperate with the DWG format is an
invaluable feature. The process and issues of using DWG within a
MicroStation deliverable workflow are almost transparent in the MicroStation
setup. But to work within the MicroStation environment and deliver DWG
files to a standard required, requires decisions and planning before starting the
project. The presentation will go over a recent project that had the
requirements to deliver DWG, but the work is being performed in
MicroStation.
