future efforts to streamline utility coordination during design phase.

Currently in Florida, the AIA, ASID and ASLA have been excluded from participating in the PEDDS process for
signing and sealing construction documents in electronic form. However, with the forthcoming of Legislative
approval, the Turnpike Enterprise has found a manner to currently include and encourage submittal of electronic
work for Architectural, Interior Design and Landscaping disciplines into their Roadway Design projects.
Tune in to an overview from the Enterprise on how the electronic delivery process works, and specifically
how these disciplines can submit their work electronically-whether as a prime contracted consultant, or as a
sub-consultant for roadway engineering projects. This presentation will also highlight the philosophy and
benefits behind submitting work electronically, the application and development of CADD standards involved,
and the uses that Turnpike derives from the electronic data created in this process.
